I went of a meeting the other day and had the most interesting experience. We offered a 2-hour training session that companies pay us thousands of dollars for to come and do live around the country free of charge.
The response astounded me. “Where will it be?”
“At our office,” I responded.
“Well that’s a 40 minute drive; I don’t think we’ll get anyone to do that,” was the response. “Maybe if you come up here, we could get people to come.”
At that moment, I realized the distinction between the highly successful and the mediocre. Successful people do not have barriers between themselves and their goals.
I travel hundreds of miles to attend events that will benefit my growth. Most people are just not willing to do what it takes to make dreams come true.
The difference is often a slight degree shift in attitude and action; what are you willing to do to achieve your goals and dreams?
